Loren Munk is one of AFT’s first poster artists, creating Downtown Brooklyn- Fulton Mall over 20 years ago. Focusing on the culture of downtown Brooklyn, Munk created a collage of local landmarks that embody the strong sense of community Brooklyn holds dear. Next week, Munk will be featured in a solo show at the Freight + Volume gallery in NYC. Entitled Loren Munk: You Are Here, the exhibit includes dazzling paintings mapping the dates and addresses of artists who worked in the various neighborhoods of New York City. Opening Thursday February 13, this exhibition will run until March 15, 2014.
